Red Star Formation Flight in PRC PLAA Nanchang CJ-6A
美国红星飞行员协会人民解放空军南昌初教六型教練機编队飞行

February, 2009. Board a CJ-6 of the Red Star team and enjoyed the wonderful formation flight in Southern California.   According to the Red Star pilots, there are about 250 CJ-6s and pilots in the USA.  CAPAOA member Jeffrey Ying is the first and only Asian pilot who joins and flies in the Red Star Pilots Association.    It is also worth to mention that one of our members who owns a Taiwanese ROC Cheinshou PL-1B Military Trainer in her original paint and markings. Hence CAPAOA members posses the military trainers from both side of Taiwanese Strait in the1960 era. 

2009年二月，与南加州坐上美国红星飞行员的初教六型飞机进行编队飞行。 全美国大约有250架初教六教练机和红星飞行员。美国华人飞行员协会的Jeffrey是第一个红星飞行员协会的亚裔飞行员及初教六拥有者.

值得一提的是本会中的其中一位会员拥有一架(台湾)中华民国空军介寿号教练机。使得本协会拥有海峡两岸同一时期的军用教练机。
